Baabun Nasr, Inc.

Through the permission of Allah and your support, Baabun Nasr, Inc. has been able to assist hundreds of individuals and families throughtout USA and Overseas at our new facility, wal-hamdulillaah!

Our program does not receive any government grants or aide.  All of the services are rendered by way of Dua (prayers) and the community support.  Your donations assist with operating expenses and program expenses such as special items for families in need of food, pampers, infant formula, toiletries, medical supplies, over-the-counter medicines and so much more.  

Baabun Nasr, Inc. currently offers the following services: 

• Voucher Program: Provide new to mildly used clothing and household items to those in need.
• Food Pantry: Donate and distribute food to needy families throughout the year.
• Lender's Program: Loan small appliances (when available) to members of the community on an as-needed, short-term basis.
• Candlelight Program: Provide candles or flashlights to those who have their electricity interrupted.
• Resource and Referrals: Direct and assist those in need in finding the help Baabun Nasr is unable to provide.
• Computer Lab: Offering free computer and internet use for those who do not have computer access allowing them to job search, house hunt, resume write and apply for other social service needs. (Upgrading in progress)
• Sisters’ Library: A new project allowing sisters to read and research with available Islamic literature, Islamic tapes and educational materials at hand. (Book and Audio Collection in Progress)
• Educational Services: Enrichment and enhancement assistance (e.g. Computer literacy, G.E.D prep, typing, resume-writing, tutoring) (Revamped Tutoring-sessions Coming Soon! - InshaaAllah)
• The Bridge Dollar Plus Thrift Store: Bridging the gaps in our community by providing affordable clothing for all.
• Other Services include but not limited to: Furniture recycling, Winter Coat Drive, Youth Penny Drive, Children’s Toy Swap and Eid Attire Distribution.

Baabun Nasr is a public charity that is founded upon Islamic morals and teachings therefore we service all who are in need that comes to us regardless of their race, gender, age, nationality, disability, ethnicity or religion. We strive to provide these services with sincerity, humility, dignity and courtesy.  And we make every effort to execute in a consistent and expeditious manner.
